We Maintain a Pulse on the Top Luxury Markets Worldwide.

Our expertise has earned us the “Best Overall Marketing” award from Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate, named one of America’s fastest-growing companies by Inc. Magazine for the past three consecutive years, and Inman News’ selection of our President, Laura Brady, as one of the 100 Most Influential Real Estate Leaders.

This seven-part blog series details how to develop a successful strategy for winning at a luxury real estate auction. In the past two weeks, we discussed how to narrow your search area and the importance of knowing the market. This week, we discuss the process of considering auction. We hope you find it useful.

7 Steps to Winning at Auction Part Three of Seven: Considering Auction
Have You Seen the Property?

In researching your market, you’ve likely seen the listing for the property in question. It’s possible you may have even driven by it. Ideally, you would have completed a walk-though of the property. However, more often than not, property hunters usually haven’t seen a property that is going to auction because the previous listing price was higher than their price range. Anything outside would have been wishful dreaming.

Now that the property is going to auction, a dream can become reality. It’s time to visit the property in person. Arrange to visit the property within two weeks. Nothing replaces going firsthand to see the property and its surroundings. We know. Before Concierge Auctions brings a luxury home to market, a senior member of our team has made a personal visit and inspection.

A personal visit can also help marry reality with the descriptions and images you’ve already seen in conducting your research. The best and most reputable companies and agents in the luxury home market — including Concierge Auctions — use professional photographers to photograph the properties’ assets. These properties look fantastic on the web and in print, but can’t show the multidimensional beauty of a home.

Nothing can replace a personal visit in your decision process. It can solidify whether your head and heart are ready to move at the auction block.
